Blog Post of the Day:
How far along are you on your info graphic? Will you be finished and ready to embed on to your blog by the end of the hour today? Do you think you've used your time wisely in class? Explain yourself.

On my info graphic, I would give myself a 40% on completion. I worked hard throughout block day, and only finished a little more than a third of the project. I feel like i did use my wisely, but don't think i will be done by the end of the hour.

Why do I have you brainstorm and collect your information in a Google Doc before putting in to final draft? Explain.

By collecting the information first, it makes it easier for us to put the information into our pictographs. Also, we can site our sources more efficiently by doing the research first.

Yesterday I introduced you to infographics... tell me again what they are and how they are used? What is the benefit of an infographic? What goes into an infogrpahic?

Infographics are pages that use symbols and pictures to explain things and show statistics. They are usually colorful, and very appealing to look at. The information that goes into an infographic is usually just statistics, polls, or test studies. They are normally used in school, buisness, and to get across general information.

Post your research paper to your blog. Give me a short (one paragraph summary) of your paper and include the link for me read your paper. Make sure you link up words! Do NOT copy and paste the ugly link. This should not be foreign to you.

My global issue paper is about the topic of same-sex marriage. It talks about the struggle that gay's and lesbian's have to get equal rights, the economical advantages that straight couples get, and the reasoning behind why its a problem in the United States.

Where are you at with your 5 paragraph essay so far? How is it coming? Is it easy to write? Difficult to write? Is it helpful that you created an outline first? Explain.

My essay is not very far along yet, I have only finished the introductory paragraph.  So far, it is fairly easy to write about because I found good sources and information. I did not find it very useful to create the outline, I thought for a simple essay like this it was unnecessary.

Tell me about your Sweetheart weekend. If you didn't go to Sweetheart, what did you do? I want details!

This weekend I did not attend sweetheart, my friends and I decided to dress up and go get sushi and ice cream. We also went shopping and had a lot of fun. Sunday, I did not do as much because I was so tired from the night before( I didn't get home till 3 a.m.) and slept most of the day and did my homework.
